How to Hang Victory Valances

Now speaking from experience these valances do get a little tricky to hang up so I'm here to give you some tips and tricks on how to achieve the perfect look in just a few easy steps.

First step would be to take the valance and iron it as best as you can. This might take a while due to all the creases and folds that are in the valance when you first take it out of the package but just take your time and most will iron out and for the stubborn wrinkles that won't come out with just ironing if you can, just use a little bit of steam and they should fall right out

Now the really tricky part begins. If you have your decorative curtain rod already hung up you need to take down just the rod and slide it through the 4 loops on the valance, make sure they're spaced evenly on the rod and test fit it by hanging it up. Once you're happy with the placement of the valance on the rod take it down once again but make sure the valance does not come off of the rod, now take four small pieces of scotch tape and place each one on the back of each loop to hold it in place when hanging it up for the final time. Now it will be much easier to shape the valance in whichever way you want. It might take a little bit of time to get the exact look you want but it will all be worth it in the end when you're able to show off your new valances.
