Tucker is a 3-piece set lined valance. Center valance standard size 29" x 13"/17" - but can be made up to 52" width in one inch increments. Side jabots gather to 8" width at top. Contrasting fabric shows at the bottom of each piece. Side jabots cinched with bands. Select main fabric for the top layer of the valance and the top layer of the jabot. Select contrasting fabric for bottom layer of the valance, the bottom layer of the jabots, and the bands.
Side jabots should be draped over decorative pole and front of jabot should be 22" in length and backside of the jabot should be 30" in length. Use with a decorative pole up to 2" in diameter. Extra valance centers, jabots and pelmets are available and can be used for wider windows. A standard 29" valance with jabots will fit a 40" decorative rod.
Recommended Sizing: Get your rod width (use the distance between the brackets)and deduct approximately 10 inches (which is the width the jabots use on the pole) - the difference will be the size your center valance needs to be. ie: rod width is 44 - 10 = 34 (order the 34" size).
If you have a double window and your pole measures 80 inches and you would use this equation: 80-10=70 divided by 2 = 35". You will order a 35" valance and a 35" additional valance center. A pelmet or additional jabot can be used in between the two valances on a double window.
If you use an additional jabot to place in between the two valances, you will want to make each valance approximately 1-2" smaller to allow rod space for the jabot. If you use a pelmet in between the two valances, make each valance 1" smaller.
Below shows a picture of a pelmet, which should be used in between the flat valances on double windows.
